The New England Patriots (9-5) could win both their remaining games and still fail to make the playoffs. Today they host the Arizona Cardinals (8-6) who have already wrapped up the NFC West.

The Patriots are in a three way tie for the AFC East leadership, and need a slip up from the Jets AND Dolphins or for the Ravens to lose one game, which would give them a chance of a wildcard entry to the post season.
